The plant for the manufacture of aluminum and PVC profiles, window and door fittings of the Astek-MT Group of Companies was commissioned in Krymsk in February 2006.

The main activities of Astek-MT are as follows:

  • production of aluminum profiles,
  • development and production of profiles for architectural and construction and interior systems under the KRAUSS trademark, profiles for general construction purposes, profiles for sliding door wardrobes, furniture facades, sliding interior partitions, building facades, profiles according to customer drawings, etc. The production capacity is more than 24 thousand tons per year.

The company is one of the five largest manufacturers of aluminum profiles in Russia.

At the present, Astek-MT is:

  • 100,000 m² of production area
  • a central plant laboratory
  • a foundry shop (with a capacity of ~ 48,000 tons of aluminum poles per year)
  • a matrix production area (an electrospark discharge machine with CNC, a processing center, adsorption nitrogen generator for matrix hardening); more than 2,500 matrices per year.
  • 5 extrusion press lines (aluminum profile): 1,460 US tons, 1,880 US tons – 2 lines, and 1,100 US tons – 2 lines.
  • Anodizing section of aluminum profiles (68,000 Ampere; capacity: 7,200 tons per year)
  • Electrostatic powder coating (2 horizontal painting lines); capacity over 9,000 tons per year.
  • a machine-tool use area (with CNC)
  • UNIMAK PVC profile laminating line
  • a gas turbine power plant (cogeneration station with a capacity of 4 MW)
  • an own water well (with a depth of 125 m)

At the moment, Astek-MT includes 4 manufacturing companies and 3 sales companies. Astek-MT is a member of the Russian Union of Metal and Steel Suppliers. There is a developed dealer network in Moscow and other cities of Russia. The company's products are supplied to most regions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.
