Establishing of orchard using hedgerow, irrigation, and hail-protection systems; stages 1 and 2

The investment project on establishing of orchard using hedgerow, irrigation, and hail-protection systems (stages 1 and 2) was implemented (investor: Yuzhnye Zemli LLC). As a result of the investment project, about 300 jobs were created. To date, seedlings have been planted on an area of 486 hectares; hedgerow and irrigation systems have been installed, and agricultural equipment necessary for the project is being purchased. A modern storage facility with a capacity of 10 thousand tons was built with a line for washing and grading fruit.

The investor plans to further develop the project.
