Veniamin Kondratyev opened the international exhibition UMIDS-2025

At the Expograd Yug exhibition complex in Krasnodar, companies producing furniture, equipment, materials, and parts for woodworking are presenting their products. Governor Veniamin Kondratyev welcomed the exhibition participants.

«Many European companies have left our market, but high-quality, now domestic furniture remains in Kuban. It creates comfort in our homes, sanatoriums, hotels, kindergartens, and schools. The exhibition features products of 330 companies. As usual, leading representatives of the furniture and woodworking industries from across Russia and from near and far abroad have gathered here. Krasnodar Region also knows how to produce quality furniture. Our industry is mainly made up of small but very flexible and strong companies that have successfully adjusted to sanctions and now fully comply with modern market requirements. The region’s furniture industry is one of the fastest growing,» said Veniamin Kondratyev.

He also noted that woodworking machinery production is well established in the region. The demand for quality furniture is further supported by ongoing construction of social infrastructure and hotels.

The exhibition features a comprehensive business program including market analysis, sales leader announcements, discussions on new products and trends, and presentations on government financial support instruments. The event will continue until April 11.
